Stephanie Schlegelmilch: I felt very welcomed when I came here. And everybody was open with me and welcomed me with open arms. Communication is
a huge thing in healthcare. Everybody could sit in one room and talk about the
struggles that were happening in the facility and have everybody just work
together. And that really meant a lot to me and showed me that people aren’t here
just for themselves or their paychecks. They’re really here for the residents
and for their co-workers also. Resident: Oh good, it looks wonderful. Natasha Urinko: She’s been a great asset to our team. When Interviewed her she was it. I just knew she she would connect well with the rest
of the team and I knew that she would connect well with our residents and our
families. Stephanie Schlegelmilch: In long-term care you just really have a bone with your residents. That’s one thing I really try to focus on every day is to just get out there
and let the residents see me and just ask how they are and talk to them so
that they can get to know me better and I can get to know them. I take care of
anyone like they’re my own grandparents. And I really look forward to that.
